31 Teqqual Tequila is the quintessential Tequila product, made in the 100% traditional process of using exclusively agave Tequilana Weber Blue species, cultivated in the region of Amatitan. 31 Teqqual  Tequila is double distilled, is all natural, the non-existence of any preservative, additives or infused flavors and or sucrose is evident in an exceptional Tequila product.  Each bottle is handcrafted and made with the utmost care in producing a universal and best in class Tequila quality.

31 Teqqual will be produced and bottled in the 750ml size and available in Tequila Blanco, Reposado and Anejo.  Each range will have a unique taste and will be enhanced by the varying number of months the Tequila product is exposed to wood barrel aging.

The 31 Teqqual Tequila fabrica is located in Amatitan, Mexico, the birthplace of the world’s renowned Tequilas. Amatitán means “small forest of amates”.The first settlers were indigenous nahuatlacas, who settled in the hills of the disputed chiquihuitillo and their domains with other indigenous groups, according to legend, these indians had a god named titan, to which the indians told the spaniards that they could not call another god and expressing “indio loves (“ama” in spanish) titan “, so the place acquired the name Amatitan. With a population of more than 20,000 residents Amatitan is located 35 km (22 miles) north of Mexico’s second-largest city, Guadalajara, it is the administrative center for the “Municipio de Amatitan” which also includes the surrounding communities of Santiaguito, villa de Cuerambaro, Chome, la Mata, la Conchilla, el Amarillo, Agua Friar, Santa Rosa and several other smaller settlements.

The economy relies heavily in the production of Tequila; its agriculture is dominated by the cultivation of the agave plant, which is used to produce the Tequila. The climate in Amatitan is hot and dry which suits well the agave plant. There is usually one rainy period during the year that lasts from June thru September, it is this time when most of the residents grow their other dominant crop, corn. Some residents also raise cattle and other livestock, mainly for regional consumption, the lifestyle of its inhabitants is mostly of a rural nature and the residents are mostly catholic.

Recent findings on the ranch el caballito cerrero a factory under the open sky, surrounded by
fermentation vats, furnaces and mills where it is produced mezcal, have confirmed that Amatitan is
the birthplace of Tequila, according to the study by historian and owner of the property Claudio Jimenez, Vizcarra
.

With great pride and after so many years of recipes laboratory research we are glad to introduce to the world the “31 Teqqual Tequila”, salud!!!!
